Cold Play NS was started by Jule Shanks in November 2021 in order to promote mental health alternatives, well-being and community. Today it has a growing membership of 1,000 cold enthusiasts. They host weekly meet ups around the HRM during cold dipping seasion (Oct-June) which are open to the public, as well as some excursions around NS.
