#12 - Matt Balcombe - Maze of the Aguanish
Maze to the Aguanish was a 30-day, 620 km journey through the expansive wilderness of Côte-Nord, Quebec. The route was designed to traverse the headwaters of the Romaine River, a river seeing significant change as part of Quebec’s major energy project Plan Nord, followed by the descent of the Aguanish River, one of the region’s most remote and inaccessible waterways.
Matt completed this canoe trip with his good buddy, Noah Booth from Northern Scavenger. This was episode was recorded at North Brewing in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
